USB Drives (thumb drives) - A USB drive is a plug-and-play portable storage device that uses flash memory and is lightweight enough to attach to a key chain









 
Hard drive - A hard drive, also known as a hard disk drive or HDD, is a fundamental part of modern computers. The hard drive is where all of your programs and files are stored.
RAM (BIOS) - Random Access Memory provides space for your computer to read and write data to be accessed by the CPU. When people refer to a computer's memory, they usually mean its RAM.





SD (flash) - A SD/Flash drive is a small electronic device containing flash memory that is used for storing data or transferring it to or from a computer.















CD/DVD/Blue-ray (Optical drives/storage) - Optical storage is a term from engineering referring to the storage of data on an optically readable medium.
